Which wines can be presented?

The competition is open to all wines in the world (still wines, sparkling, lightly effervescent, sweet, liqueur wine, fortified and spirits).

How many wines can be presented?

You are not limited in the number of wines you can present.

How many wine samples need to be sent?

3 labelled bottles per wine must be sent to the address indicated on the form. The wines must have their label and capsule.

What else should be sent?

Photographs of the bottle and the label of each presented wine must be sent by e-mail. Labels can also be post mailed or attached to wine bottles in an envelope.

When can the evaluation results be used?

From the moment WWG communicates the results to each winery by email, you can use them in your advertising, web, etc.

When can I request the sending of medals?

From the moment WWG communicates the results by email to each winery, you can request the sending of self-adhesive medals to be placed in the bottles.

How should samples be sent?

The shipping and customs fees must be paid by the sender. The samples must be sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP).

We recommend wineries and companies wishing to participate from outside the European Union to send samples through an importer in the European Union to avoid delays in customs clearance. If they do not have an importer, samples can be send directly.

What should I write on the package for customs?

"Value in customs 0.5 euros per product. Samples for tasting purposes only, no commercial value."

CAUTION: Make sure that the total shipment value remains below 20 € (20 $). If not, you will have to pay additional custom fees. If you use DHL services, make sure you do not get charged with additional custom duties.
